Our Pastor

Pastor V.P. Abraham was born and raised in a Pentecostal family. He came to faith in Christ at eight years of age and was baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit at age 16. Pastor Abraham dedicated his life to ministry in 1985 after a successful career in Saudi Arabia. Over the last 38 years, God has been faithful to him. He is available for however the Lord wants to use him in this stage of his life.

 

Assembly of God Dallas is blessed to have Pastor V.P. Abraham serve as the 4th Senior Pastor beginning in 2024. It is a great honor to be shepherded by a seasoned servant of God who has served as Pastor in Charge in different places both in India and USA. He is well versed in Malayalam and English and has a gifting to communicate, counsel and care for all irrespective of age or background.

God has blessed him with a wonderful wife, Leelamma Abraham. They have been married since 1978. She has served alongside him in ministry for over the last 34 years. Together they have four children, their spouses, and ten grandchildren. They are all settled in the Carrollton area and serving the Lord in their church and places of employment. His oldest son, Pastor Linson, serves as a youth pastor at Bethany Full Gospel Church. His youngest son, Pastor Libin, serves as the Lead Pastor at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship.
